We grow seasonal, specialty flowers locally and design with care, modern creativity, and attention to texture and light. Our work focuses on blooms that don’t travel well. The flowers that are most beautiful when grown close to home and experienced fresh. At Bloom, flowers are more than decoration; they are an experience of the season itself.

Where Bloom Began

Bloom began during a season of change for our family.

After years of commuting and endless screens, we longed for a slower pace, deeper connection, and hands-on creativity. Moving to Northeast Iowa allowed us to root our family life in the rhythms of the seasons and the joy of making something meaningful.

During this time, I noticed a gap in the local floral landscape. Many designs hadn’t evolved in decades. Specialty flowers were difficult to source, damaged by shipping, or stripped of their beauty before they reached a vase. Bloom Flower Farm was created to offer an alternative.

As my work with flowers deepened, so did my desire to slow down and truly observe them—the way light moves across a petal, the quiet tension of a stem, the fleeting beauty in a single moment. Still Blooms is a photographic art exhibition that invites viewers to pause and experience flowers beyond their lifespan.

Where Bloom brings seasonal beauty into everyday life, Still Blooms holds space for reflection. Capturing flowers as art, as form, and inviting you to slow down and notice something unexpected.
